I cannot agree more. I think the three of us were nose to tail for 10 of the 16 laps. It was so much fun, we changed places a couple of times, and overall was one of the best racing weekends I have had. I know I raced hard because my right quad was sore the next day! :slight_smile: I guess I was really pressing the gas and brake hard on Sunday.

I would also like to give kudos to Michael O’s pit crew. They fed us, provided timing and scoring sheet, and made sure we were aware of all driver’s meetings (thanks Karen!). I do not think some of us (me especially) would have had as successful of a weekend if they were not there.

I also want to express my joy that the SpecE30 camaraderie is still alive and well. From sharing tools, donating parts, and assisting others in need, we might have grown and are much more competitive, but the off track generosity is still strong.

Thanks for the kind words Kap. I will pass them on to the crew. All the Spec E30 guys were great and everyone had a great time.

Take a look at this link and look about 2/3 the way down and you can see Simon spin in T1 and Cobetto just miss him.

After your "bump" you can hear when the tire makes contact with the fender. I really did not think you were going to make it the entire race without cutting the tire. The three of us had a really great race!

I also forgot about the lead legends car who screwed up our battle. He could have waited until he got a better run. There was no one behind him for a good half a mile. So much for staying out of class races.
