D. Edwards put up some fast times today!
Office Pool for the Nationals
they will switch to a different way of reporting for the races and the driver names will be shown.

Finally got here saw Osborne at the drivers meeting, he said Cobetto was the man to beat again and was in the low 44s already. Carter and M.Davidson were there too. John Allen was not that fast today apparently, he must be sandbagging ;). Thats all I know I haven’t seen any time sheets yet, so I can’t confirm any of this.
Thanks Ken, looks like we overlooked Donny from Cali, he should only get faster today as will most everyone else. I’m itching to get in the car I need to get warmed up in a hurry.
AJ, thanks for the info on the Northern California racers (Donny and Steve). Your input will help us armchair types experience the Nationals from afar.Every geographic region has someone to pull for… go NorCal racers. Keep sending those updates.
Also, thanks for the trackside reports.
Regards, Robert Patton
Today’s race was a joke. Lap or two and we went full course yellow because of some Legends cars. When finally going back to green, the pace car never put out the lights, so many (myself included) got caught out at the green since SE30 was at the back of a long line of Legends and PT cars.
Michael O. was hit by a Legends car while leading, then dropped back to third.

That’s about all I remember off the top of my head. I think MikeD and Carter were right there, but don’t remember what order.
Hopefully tomorrow we can race.
Very frustrating day, I was chasing tire pressures the first 2 sessions and qualified 6th. In the race I got pushed off the track at the start and went for a wild ride through the grass I was in 10th by the Keyhole and then we went yellow. My car is currently not handling right and I’m not sure if it was from my 2 offs in turn 1 today. We’re going to get up early and go through the car as I have a high speed oversteer issue that is not very confidence inspiring. Hope to put in a good showing tomorrow.
Is there any way to pause the screen on My Laps scoring. Its hard to see much with it switching screens every 2 seconds.
last year there was a print function that would pause it (side effect) but I can’t find it this year. You could Alt+PrintScreen and paste it into something like Word or Paint.

That’s what I’ve been doing. It’s very annoying behavior.
Also, some photos are up already. Nice sequence of Cobetto apparently squeaking by Simon. Follow the link to page 1, scroll about 1/4 down the screen.

Good tip, this also works in Windows.
Right click, select print and when the dialog box comes up just move it out of the way to view the results.
Chris
aha, that’s what I did last year. you have to right click on top of the results area.
cheers,

Cobetto has been throwing down some smokin laps. Jonny ran some fast ones too. Skeen looks good considering this is his first time there. The hometown boys Simon and Michael haven’t faired to well so far, maybe tommorrow when it all counts. I that hate I could not go!

Sounded like Herrington had significant front end damage and Hunter made it back to the pits at least. I wasn’t sure if I heard that they got together or not.

I thought I heard that they got together but not sure exactly what happened. If I heard it correctly, one of them lost rear end and started spinning and another one just ran into him. (again not sure if this is really what happened)
That is what the commentator stated…That Herrington got loose and Simon collected him.
What happened to Carlton? I didn’t look at qualies but he apparently didn’t start the race.
