Just need 4 more races. Yep, just got 1 that counts since last Sunday’s race at Summit was a DQ for contact.
See ya there.

I am not sure you will be guarding the end of the line. I had a tough time trying to chase you down on the Sunday race.

CA guys,

You going to make it out to Nationals this year? I figured Steve Krshul would like a rematch this year

Hope you guys can make it!

-Steve

#24

Is it a true statement that any races after Nationals 2007 qualify for the 5 race minimum?

Thanks,

-Steve

It’s been awfully quiet…

Who is ready to get some smack talking started?

It looks like we have 19 entries at this point - up 27% from last year, but our California friends aren’t returning this year (gas prices?) and Pantas (switched to knuckle-dragger class) is out. Other than those 3, all 2007 participants are back for more fun! There are 7 entries that were not in the 2007 event.

I will be there (I hope) in a car that has not yet seen a track, so finishing the races will be a worthy goal for me! There’s a fine line between bravery and stupidity. This will be my first SE30 race. You decide.

Will Cobetto defend his championship? Skeen’s kind of used to the spotlight this year:) , so will he grab the top step?

Will there be a 6th place trophy?

Don’t tell me you guys are too competitive to entertain some good-natured smack talk!!!

Steve D.

updated entry list (8/28)…

THIS is NOT the South East…B) We are gentlemen racers up here.

Simon, should we tell them about the changes to the track?? You know, how all that specal sauce they put on the track makes the brake zones back way up… and how you are now required to break at the kink in the back straight…

I thought that was a euphemism for “slow and rich”… :stuck_out_tongue:

Everybody north of the Mason-Dixon line has to run the chicane before the keyhole, right?

Steve D.

#31

Speaking of the southeast where is it? I thought Moses was at least going to make an appearance? I guess it would kinda suck to tow to Mid Ohio to just get beaten by Skeen again  . Is Rockingham really that great a track?

#32

The southeast may not be well-represented at Nationals, but we sure have you beat in the trash-talking category.

Smack talk is what them hillbillies are all about.
If mike wins they will claim they are the fastest region :stuck_out_tongue:

They like to race rockingham so they can pretend they are their favorite nascar drivers. There’s going to be a big fight for who gets to be dale jr.

I am proud to be a hillbilly! If you think those shine running days are over maybe I should bring up some of grand Dad’s good stuff. My racing problem is that there is never anyone behind me with blue lights. Now if we can get Patton back up here and turn on his lights, I can sure show you how to get to the front (do we have to stay on the black stuff??)

Eastern KY born and bread, never saw a straight road until the interstate came throught! Actually, If you have ever driven I64 from VA to KY you can’t quite say it is straight.

#39

I thought we already had a national championship this year at Roebling with like 30 cars?

Mike won that one too.

#40

Are we running the new short course or the regular course counter-clockwise?
