I hope so to, if you get desperate and need to run an enduro let me know and I split the cost with you. We have to run your car though .
Also to everyone else the $499 entry fee it only good till May 31st. The earlier you sign up the cheaper it is.
Entry price goes up $100 in 4 days.

I’m not going to make it. Too $$$ of a weekend to finish 10th, especially with Rockingham the next weekend in the SE. Its only a 40 min. drive from the house!

Based on your performances in the south east I doubt you’d finish 10th. Although it should be a really strong field. I’ll just have to get out to the Southeast one time next year.

You are going to bail again? C’mon… better do it before gas prices go up (again)…

Looking forward to seeing you guys again. The early sign up deadline has now been extended till the end of June.
[quote]The National Auto Sport Association is pleased to announce a date extension of the early entry fee
price for the 2008 National Championship event. “Although we currently have more entries to date
when compared to last year, we want to give our members a little breathing room and we hope this
will help a good number of people save a few dollars”, said National Chairman Ryan Flaherty. The
$499 entry fee will be available until June 30th, 2008 and will raise in $100 increments thereafter.
Should a member register and need to withdraw their entry, they are eligible to receive the fees
paid less a $50 handling fee so it is more cost effective to enter now even if there is a slight
chance you won’t be able to attend. It is also important to remember that car number priority is
based on your registration date, so don’t hesitate and visit http://www.drivenasa.com/e/750 as soon
as possible.

Ok, jumped in, registered, got the vacation time.
Now I need the races to qualify. And enough skill to not be a roadblock:blink: .
I see also that if you can’t do the Nats by virtue of not having enough races, they give you a FULL refund. And, now ya got another month at 499…

Its that time again to remind everyone that the entry fee is about to go up $100 for Nationals. They extended the early bird sign in till the end of June but after that it goes up $100 every month. We already have 14 cars signed up and a number of racers who are going haven’t signed up yet. We should easily get over 20 cars with some of the best drivers from each region.
Just registered. I certainly won’t be anywhere near the front, but Steve K convinced me that this is a heck of a lot of fun and a great experience. (Also doesn’t hurt that a good racer friend of mine grew up near Mid-Ohio and is willing to crew for me.) Look forward to seeing everyone there!

P.S. For anyone needing to make enough races, note that you can count up to 2 time trial events as part of your 5 “races” that you need to qualify. I started out late this year (moved from California and was still getting the car legal) so I’m only going to make two race weekends before Nationals, but I’m planning to do a time trial at VIR in July just to qualify. Assuming I don’t DNF, I should have 4 races and at least 1 time trial event.
I’m registered, but for GTS 1 with my e30 iC Turbo Diesel…if the car is not up to it, I may bring the spec e30…

Ok Joe… You forced me to register (and the steep 100.00 increase)… I am in for this year… again

I’m in. Just decided. This should be good news for y’all since I’ll guard the tail end.
Just need 4 more races. Yep, just got 1 that counts since last Sunday’s race at Summit was a DQ for contact.
See ya there.
Tom
Just as a reminder for anyone that needs more races, I’m pretty sure that if you did any races last year after Nationals, they count towards this years race count.
