I decided to do Lowe’s and stick to a SE only schedule again this year
But I will make the short drive up to hang out and watch you guys race.

Initially I thought this was a neat idea and intended to attend. But things change and it is an 11 hour tow from Huntsville.
Now I may have to come… So I can beat Fred, again!
See Jim, I TOLD you eating that day-old birthday cake would give you hallucinations. (well in this case, delusions)
Hey all,
I’m not in SpecE30 (yet!) but I’m signed up for the DE1 group at VIR and am planning to bring my partial spec E30. A bunch of you know me from NASA-SE (corner flagger). Looking forward to seeing you guys up there!

I think you drank the Kool-aid too.
Keri, welcome to the madness! Looking forward to seeing your E30 out there.
Keri, welcome. You’ve seen us race and you still want to join this group?
Good luck as you learn the game of golf…excuse me, racing.
Regards, Robert Patton
If you guys let Steve Bassen know ahead of time he might be able to get all the extra body panels in stock and give some type of group pricing. You can all just drop off your cars at his shop on the way home.

Nice that know that winning didn’t “change” you…Still the cranky B*stard we’ve known for years!
Chuck, I have some wheels with Fuzion ZRIs on them that I used to use for rain sessions. I’m sure your son can use those. Maybe we can work out some type of exchange!
Alex.
Alex, this is the best-sounding offer so far. Plan to bring the set to VIR and we can sort out a store credit or similar. Thanks!
I’m with Jim. Just got my car fixed and would like to keep it that way for a little while. Plus I need to save my money for Aug. Road Atlanta so I can decrease the size of Jim’s head;)
I’ve decided my bank account is much too mediocre to make the trip and still be able to hit RA in August. I’d love to check out VIR sometime, but it doesn’t sound like it will be this year.
Okay, so I finally convinced dad that we should go and he said yes, so the Patton’s are in. So far I have:
~Fred
~Chuck
~Robert
~Laura
~Kelly
Who else will be there? I know there are more and if you haven’t decided yet, you should definently be there. We’re going to show them how it’s done in the SouthEast.
Laura
I’ll be there driving other stuff. I think my dad will be doing Comp School and racing in my E30.
I just signed up, and am also going to instruct my son in HPDE-1 if I don’t pass out from the double-dose of heat.
Late fee starts tomorrow, so if you’re on the fence, go ahead and get registered and we’ll see you up there!
Alex, you are correct; I got my weeks screwed up. Sorry for the misinformation. That will be 2 weeks from now, on July 14.
No worries Chuck. I thought maybe the rules changed.
I’ll be up there too. Maybe I can try to stay mid-pack again!
I registered today and can’t wait to learn VIR full course in race conditions. Look for me at/near the back of the pack.
Also Alex/Fred, let me know if either of you might be interested in splitting a hotel to keep costs down.

Chuck, it will be great to see you again! I think the last time was at Mid-Ohio?
Looks like I am going to have to sign up now that the Pattons and you will be there…
-Steve
Steve, don’t sign up or not sign up on our behalf.
Looks like the answer for VIR is no.
