Sorry Jim. I didn’t mean to spell your name wrong. I was having a Monday moment. No GM at the dealership due to an EEOC lawsuit against the previous GM and down to only 2 sales people instead of 6. Plus the RV industry is not exactly the place to be to make money right now. Looks like I will not make it to the race after all because my car is still not quite 100% compliant since it does not have the correct exhaust on it. I might try and do the DE if I can’t race. We might have to wait unitl PBOC in the Fall to settle this. A little good hearted competition/rivalry never hurt anyone. A little smack talk is good for the soul as well.

Just tell everyone at the driver’s meeting that you have an illegal exhaust and will take a DQ if you finish in the top 6. I could be wrong, but I think most would prefer to have one more car to race than to have you sit out.

Besides, if we couldn’t race non-compliant cars, what would Geegar do?

Those letters “DQ” aren’t nice.

Talk to the racers, there are more than one way to get ironman on the grid. Spec e30 fun, a who cares attitude/paddock vote, the note in the logbook method…

Come on out and join us.

DEs are for…Mr. Junky. Now there’s some trash talk.

Well I just spoke to the guys at PBOC who I have my racing license through and THEY LOST MY MEDICAL FORMS!!! They had the originals and they cant find them or have any record that they ever had them. Son of a BIT**!!! When it rains it poors. Just more drama that I need to get my license squared away. Thank goodness that my doctor’s office had a copy. Sorry just pissed today and that was the last straw so I had to vent to someone and I can’t vent to customers. lol

How so? Is it becomming a true-life race car?
Put a number on the side of the car and see what happens!

My exhaust isn’t legal, but it doesn’t matter when you finish consistently in the last 6 places. I called Paul Poore today though, so we’ll see if we can get legal before the end of the month. Who knows, might even find a few HP, my exhaust system is about to fall apart, custom built by no other than Molitor Motorsports.

Continue to beat your a$$ in the Chariot of Victory.

DeVinney, you need to cut your boy Tom over at OPM a check to get your car “back to compliance” under the hood, similar to what I did. Or cut him an even bigger check and get him to get your car even more compliant than mine… with 20 over pistons. Just imagine the Chariot of Victory with a 20 Over Motor of Massacre. I know, it hurts really bad just thinking about it.

Get a copy of the medical from you doctor and submit the application for a license. And talk to Jim Pantas as he might allow you to race under your PBOC license. Don’t sweat the illegal exhaust, you can race for no points as I understand the rules. Besides, I doubt you’d be protested unless you finished in the top 5 and had a clear performance advantage. More racers are better!

I wasn’t serious about my name. I has a long history of being mangled in so many ways that I almost no longer care:)

Available excuses:
a) I am waiting for the soon-to-be-published Spec E30 magneto-rheological-power-ometer derived horsepower limit so I can snug right up to that sucker
b) I already have a 040-over motor, I just suck
c) I can’t bear the thought of giving up my down-on-power excuse
d) I’m a ricer at heart and don’t care how it runs if it looks clean enough, or
e) Next year’s tuition is due and my wife’s priorities are for $hit

And yes, it hurts to think that your right foot could get even bigger. But it will balance out the swelling inside your helmet. :stuck_out_tongue:

PS - We really should get together with the wives sometime. I’ve got some pointers for how you can get that champagne smell out of your driver’s suit.
