I hope they let us park on the jet black skid pad again, that was awesome.

Anyone that always wanted to see the world’s neatest parking lot shouldn’t miss this event.

#3

Paddock Map shows us back on the skid pad.

Does the radical challenge really need the whole bottom lot?

Bring on the heat!!!

#4

Come on guys, cut Jim Pantas some slack. He’s got us on the skid pad so that Robert and Laura don’t have to walk far to babysit the HPDE students.Besides, it’s easy to find your lost nuts and bolts on the black surface.

So, it’s my fault.

Glad to see Pantas posting something.

Now, Who is racing ?

I’m there…

#6

Lako and Walsh are in.

What I will be doing should not be considered racing. After a 3 hr enduro and a weekend of sprint races, I have a whopping 3 hot laps under my belt. I’m not sure I will be able to take the #82 Chariot Of Victory to the podium it’s deserving of at Barber. No test and tune or enduro before the sprints, so you guys get a bye this round.

#8

Ill be there. First time to Barber…who has some good video?

Don’t start with the excuses already, Jones. That’s weak.

If its like last year, bring your coolers, ice, cool shirts, fans, fuel pumps, starters, fuel pump relays, anything affected by heat, winch for your trailer, more water and ice, some sunglasses, and maybe a fire suit, more coolers, and don’t make a reservation at that crappy hotel right on the road to Barber by the interstate. It might make the Executioner look like the Ritz.

Barber feasted on E30s last year. They were dropping like ducks on the first day of hunting season. Mechanicals, oh lordy there were mechanicals. Bring all your spares, and maybe a 10x10 tent so you have shade while you rebuild some obscure piece of your car.

Oh, and some small squares of plywood about the size of your jackstands so the BMP-PoPo’s don’t write you up for asphalt abuse.

 Skeen FTW!

Hopefully I will get the car finished. If so I am in. Running out of money. Hey Jim how about a freebie since it was your rear quarter panel that did so much damage to my car:woohoo:

No, but apparently DTOM gave you rights to their jokes.

I can’t help you with the freebie (especially at Barber!) but I do have a bunch of front end parts if you need them - you are welcome to come pick up anything I have that you might need.

I’m still on the fence about this one. I’ve always wanted to do Barber. On a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being highly likely to be there… I’d say I’m an 8. Hope to know for sure on Monday.

I just want to be on a track…

#19

I’m planning on being there. I need to do decals over on my car and adjust valves.

Why does it have to be so far???
