Mid Ohio April 21-22

I’m the only one on the entry list so far. This will be my maiden voyage, who else is going to be there? Victor, Osborne? Lets get it going.

I can’t make it to Ohio in April - my job has me leaving DC on Sunday afternoon, and it doesn’t help that Friday is my girlfriend’s birthday.

Please let me know what support you need, and good luck!!!

I am trying Simon. I am close to ready and should make it. Car will not be painted and such but should be functional. All the little things to do.

You plan on being there on Friday?

No seriously, I am interested in trying out the track and fear that I will be unable to make nationals, so maybe it is possible, we’ll see. It would definitely be a big motivator if others were going as well.

Simon, issue a challenge to the Mid Atlantic guys and see what happens. If you can get one to bite the others will sometimes follow.

As for the Southeast racers, it is doubtful that anyone will make the trip as we’ve got an event one week prior.

Heck, with you and Osborne you’ll have some great racing…Don’t need no backmarkers from MA or SE anyhow.(How’s that for trash talk on your behalf?)

OK Simon. I just signed up. Car should be ready except for a good paint job. The brakes pull a little but I think it will be fine.

I hope to be able to keep you in sight. There will be a lot of other peskey cars in our group.

Don’t worry my car hasn’t even touched a track yet so who knows what it will do. Glad you’re going.

We are only gonna make that 13 hour drive once this year haha.

Man that is a long trip.

Have fun though, it is a very challenging track.

Michael, I’m going to cancel my entry, I have too many things to get finished up and I just switched jobs and I haven’t accumlated any vacation yet. Sorry!! Putnam will be my first event. I did get the car on track though for 2 sessions this weekend and I was very impressed, these cars are a ton of fun, not quite an E30 M3 but should make for some great racing.

I had great intentions to make this my 1st race, but …the car is not quite ready yet. I am still coming Friday though to do the comp license school in one of the track’s rental cars. So, hopefully I can get that much accomplished. I’ll probly bring my 350Z to run in HPDE 4 on Saturday. Hope to see at least Michael there. I’m sure more will get going on in this region soon for our series.

I guess I will still go. I am very disappointed not to have anyone to run with. I don’t want to race out of class so I guess it is just a lapping/practice weekend. Come by and say "Hi" Me and my clan will be around all weekend. My car is red with green flames down the side. # 36.
