Got my car back from Zintars yesterday. It is better than it was before I tested the tire barriers, which is amazing. Now if I can get my old head back on a regain the power I lost when I put a new head on I’ll be happy and ready.

I can’t wait for Wednesday! This is going to be an awesome race week full of beer, fun, BS, tequila, cupacabra and a whole lot of good times! Oh and some racing, ha!

I need to make sure I understand the rules. Spec fuel, but no fuel sampling port must be on the car. Do I understand this correctly?

What are the logistics and detail on the fuel? Are we allowed to fill up our 5 gal jugs at RA or do we have to stick the nozzle in our cars and fill up/ top off the tank and get some special sticker/seal? Will there be fuel police checking to ensure every driver pays at the RA pump? With 100+ cars I have no desire to wait in a line in 95 degree heat once or twice a day.

I would have rather put in a fuel sampling port. I really like how NASA solicited our input. EPIC FAIL!!!

FYI, DriveGear will have rebuilt getrag 260’s on hand if anyone needs one. I also have a rebuilt 3.73 diff in the trailer too. We will also have a spare car that is capable of running up front available for rental. been looking forward to this a while, cant wait!!

Any updates from today? Can’t find any live results!

#110

All the results and schedules are linked off the NASA-SE page.

SpecE30 is in Group C

http://nasa-se.com/

Don’t know why yet but top two finishers from today’s race were DQd. Another fast guy (Walsh) had a dnf due to failed brake line, so results are a little scrambled.

Looking forward to seeing the weekend action in person.

#111

DQ for what infraction?

#112

one was found with a chip
and the other was messing with his car before tech after the race

#113

Found a FB post saying there was live streaming from this site. May want to check it out

Go to live.racerconnect.com Click NASA Championships and then click live streaming. No streams active right now though…

Wait, I heard you guys can’t figure out that even grid means inside line on start and you should never go on a flying green until it’s the second furled green but that really means double yellow on the last Saturdays in August. Bone up spec’ers!!

#115

Don’t forget the yellow/red flag displayed together. It’s not it the ccr’s and nobody had ever seen it. Cautiously stop? Drivers choice? Don’t stop or pass but stop? Save us Jim Pantas!

#116

Huh. It made it into my copy of the CCRs - 19.3.2.
Maybe it’s just in the special rookie edition.

Save us? Save us from what? Not having to read/remember the CCR?

#118

I’ll be damned. It sure is. Guess since SE runs a good show and communicates well they have never had to use it.

#119

Any body know what’s up with the 2 DQs showing on the official results for SpecE30 on NASA-SE for today’s race?

#120

Holy cow! Feel bad for Lako, but HUGE congrats to Sandro! Last to first!

Sandro, I bet you wouldn’t even touch the car till they were done checking it over, ha!
