I think you’re onto something. If we get 2 treadmills, maybe we can find a way to test HP/TQ and diff lockup at the same time.

I’m honestly just optimistic that the potential rules/enforcement will work in practice, if they don’t then that’s when I’ll be concerned. For myself I just don’t see any point in stressing about something that might work out just fine. Only way to find out is to give it a try.

Yes, that is why I showed up this year, driving my car to the track with its 128/131hp motor. that is not for everyone and it would not take much of a checkbook to beat me…but the car did run as high as 3rd in a couple of races and it won a 3 hour…

I got to see Penske’s DP car at VIR this week, looks like he is gonna roll on those guys too.

Maybe we could use a stairmaster to test shocks.

Thanks for all your input guys.

Didn’t mean to get anybody fired up about this… (I’m new to participating in forums)

I just can’t wait to get the damn car finished and get out there and race…

All,
Please see the post about the rocker rule in the Announcements sub-forum.
thanks

Now that the rocker issue is cleared up, where is the best place to buy replacement rockers? And, after reading around the interwebs a bit, I’ve noticed some people have stated a slight variation in the mold the replacements are cast in. IE, shallower groove in the fork. Also, the quality of the casts is questioned. So, does anyone have a manufacturer (Febi?) and a SpecE30 sponsor they can suggest?

I know who the suppliers are, just wondering if there is a difference in parts carried by each. I’ve heard there is a variation in some of the Febi parts that causes premature failures (pitting specifically).
