Just tried it and it works.

For what its worth - Just ordered set of 4 PBR rotors.

$65.90 and free shipping. No discount code used.

Woot!!!

#47

I just ordered a set too. :cheer:

Just a heads up I tried to put on the rears I got from Autoparts123 and they did not fit, there was no cleareance between the caliper bracket and the rotor. The fronts have worked out fine. I wouldn’t buy the rears though.

Hey - just curious. I read an article in Popular Mechanics over the weekend about inexpensive (“cheap”) rotors -http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/how_to/4338268.html

Has anyone checked the thickness of these rotors compared to others? I’ve ordered several sets of these without problems, but …

I had a set of the cheapie rears that fit ok, but the hole for the retaining screw was too small.

#51

Hmm. I am going to finally install the ones I ordered 6 months ago this weekend. I will report back the results.

autoparts123.com, coupon VALENTINE (good til 2/28)

4 front rotors, $64.04 shipped

#53

Pretty sad that 4 rotors shipped for an E30 are cheaper than just 1 rotor for my 944.

#54

what’s sad is that you picked the wrong class to race in :stuck_out_tongue:

#55

Actually, I am just delaying the inevitable. Why do you think I am trolling the E30 forums?

lol.

Y’know, I can help you with this. You let me work on your 944 engine and you’ll have cause to be shopping for another car in a week .

#57

Deal, just blow it up beyond fixing.

Historical evidence would suggest that to be something Scott could manage to do.

#59

I disagree. He seems to keep blowing them up and still fixes them. By the way the PBRs I got from www.autopartswarehouse.com fit just fine. I would still recommend them over the other place.

That’s okay, we paid less for our SE30 donor car than we did for big brake kit (fronts only) on our E46 M3.
