Beer Tech Livery is Done!!!

#1

We are almost there……Just a few small details to finish to make the car legal and “doneâ€? but here are some pics of the finished look. I like it, comments welcome.

Ultimately, three cars make up BeerTech Racing. The second car is in the graphics shop now and the third will be done later in the season. We are all planning to be at the Comp school at VIR next month (Feb 23rd) and hopefully race the two sprints that weekend as well.

A big thanks goes out to Rodney at Revolution Decal for the awesome customer service and workmanship.

Hope everyone enjoys the pics.

awsome, it’s looks great! Can’t wait to meet you guys at VIR. Good Luck in comp school as well.

#5

That is sweet.

#6

Looks great. I bet you get a lot of attention driving on the streets. BTW, don’t forget to put your NASA decal on before comp school.

This is just what we’re having the vinyl guy do. We’ll be adding the NASA, Toyo, E, Cut-off, and tow stickers before we hit the Track.

NASA is the only one we don’t have yet. If you (or anybody else) knows where we can get the NASA stickers before getting to the track… it would be nice to have one less thing to think about once we’re there.

I tried getting them from Laura Cobetto but they are out of stock. She referred me to Dave Ho at NASA Nationals and he mailed them right out to me ($10 for 4 stickers). His email address is Dave@drivenasa.com

Oh well, so much for my hopes of having the best looking SpecE30. Your car is "tits." Now if you could only drive as kick-ass as the car looks, bitch!

Thanks Sasha!! …as far as the driving comment…well, hopefully Ill figure out what Im doing behind the wheel before you do. Ive seen you drive and I dont want to be anywhere near you.:stuck_out_tongue:

You may want to have your mirrors checked because I dont think they work!

That does look fantastic.

You get some spare film to do touch up trackside?

When I used to race motorcycles we would only paint fairing and such in colors matched to rustoleum…always had touch up paint available!!!

If you’re going to do something to the bumpers, I hope it’s a street car.

If you’re referring to a Spec E30 car, read the Rules…

And yes, he knows that they have to be stock.

I thought I remember reading about bumper tuck no-nos, I knew someone would correct me! But I read a post about updating 87 style to 89 or something. Wasn’t sure about this sort of thing.

The shocks for the bumpers were worn out. The bumpers pull out just as easy as they push in.

My car is the same on the front. If I just give it a good tug, the bumper comes straight out again.

I know the rules and will adhere to them, however I still disagree that this is considered legal and tucked bumpers (free) are not.
