Hello all,
I have begun my search for a new motor! As my wallet is rather empty I am not looking for a fresh, “race” motor, my plan is to slowly rebuild the motor as funds become available. Preferred mileage under 200 but I will consider anything. I am located in Flint Michigan and am willing to drive a bit.
Also if you have the complete engine harness and ecu this will make my life easier!! If you have just the harness or ecu and are looking to sell pm me as well.

How are far are you willing to drive? If you don’t mind driving to the Louisville, KY area, there you could call Mike Johns Imports (812-284-3791) and ask for Mike. I’ve purchased two used motors from him where I started and examined the motors prior to the sale. He likely has a motor in car that you could start and compression test. He’s pretty reasonable on pricing.

If you are willing to go that far, I have known good engine. I had it in my previous Spec E30 for a season and the engine had 120k on it when I got it.
I don’t think I could do AL. Kentucky is basically on the way, not so much with AL… Thanks anyway!
So my engine finally popped, really looking for an “i” now. If anyone in the michigan ohio indiana illinois sorta area has one I am rather motivated to buy. Any condition except holes in the block that sort of thing.

Best advice is to comb Craigslist for an entire car. I have a Contact in Chicago who can put together a motor for you if you need, a seriously well done motor. PM me if interested.
