Winter Go Kart Tournament!

I’ve been talking to John and we want to get a bunch of the guys to race at Full Throttle Karting in Cincinnati early next month. I’ve been to the place a couple times with some of my friends, and the place is really nice. They are some of the fastest indoor karts I’ve driven. The crew there seems to take pretty good care of everything too.

I think it would be really fun to get as many of us as possible so let’s try to pick a day that would work for everyone. What’s everyone’s availability? One thing that is a nice incentive is on Mondays it’s a “member’s day” and the races are twice as long and costs the same amount.

Mondays are out for me has to be a weekend, but I’m in otherwise.

If we do a weekend, we’d definitely want to schedule with them in advanced. That place gets super crowded.

I could do a weekend except the one before and after Thanksgiving. Otherwise every other weekend is pot luck depending on spouse and kids. You’ll understand someday. Married with children.

Also depending on how late it goes I may need a place to crash.

I could actually see making a whole weekend of it and hitting the casino at night (gambling is another hobby of mine). But just like Micheal everything depends on kids, wife etc. Throw out some dates and I’ll pass it throught the proper channels :wink:

I can’t do the 20th, but so far I think most weekends are open for me. What about the 5th (I don’t think my wife planned anything for me that weekend… yet!).

Checked calendar, tentaively looks good, although apparently I have to water the tree that day. Will run it by the boss.

I will have to confirm, but the 5th is a definite maybe! Probably the best chance all month.

The 5th it is then. I’m bringing the Go Kart Championship trophy I won last winter with Kevin and Rob! I have to defend my title.

I’m out for the 5th, Shannon has drill that weekend. Maybe next time.

Michael also said he probably won’t be able to do the 5th. What another option that may work for everyone?

Yea, I don’t think I can make the 5th. Soccer tournament that weekend.

I’m all for going on the 5th and scheduling another one for the guys who couldn’t make it haha. The kart place isn’t too far away, it’s always a good excuse to go for a SE30 day.

5th would work for me if everyone is going to be there. The 3rd is my birthday and had planned to visit friends in Detroit. Any other weekend would be fine for me.

The 5th will work for me. The weekend before Thanksgiving is a maybe. We can have an engine installation party after the karting at Anthony’s :wink:
