Who needs a GOOD cage?

#1

Keith Smith (MA NASA, but here in Winston Salem) turned me on to a GREAT cage builder in central NC. The guys name is Sam Neave in Franklinville, NC.

I spoke to him and he will likely be building the cage for our "Red Dog". He called me and he is ready and available to start, but my car is in SC with Brother Tom being worked on and hopefully being driven on the 21 and 22 at CMP at a Turn One event.

Sam needs something to do! Call him at 336-824-1605 if your ready and need a good cage!

Sam did mine, great cage.

I should add: mine came out to $1725 with plenty of extra stuff including his famous seat mounting to the cage. Great deal.

I will chime in once again, everyone who has had build their cage has been truely impressed with his workmanship, skill and price. He’s a true craftsman who has been doing this for 30 years! Can’t go wrong.

He did some add ons to our cage as well. Highly recommended.

Does anyone have a shell that they want to sell at a cheap price? By cheap I mean $400 or less. I could commit to a Sam cage if I have a good core.

Robert,
I have an "e" car that has a good shell that I’d be happy to sell cheap. It’s missing some body panels, but ran fine about a year ago when it went into storage.
Give a shout if you’re interested!

-Vic
I have some body panels on the parts car as well as from one of the other cars I had…what is missing Vic?

Sean,
I haven’t seen the car in a long time, but I think it needs a hood, bumper, bumper trim, grille, fender, and maybe a control arm.

-Vic
I have a hood, fenders, a rear plastic bumper, the red parts car has a damaged hood, good r. fender, scraped L fender and good bumper internals but no covers.

We should make a frankenstein Spec E30 out of it, and split the money

The car does have early-style bumpers (the FAST kind).

Seriously though, I had planned to snag it out of storage some time this year and either part it out or fix it up - maybe a nice Summer project.

A friend of mine at work has a "is" shell for under $400. Seems to be missing the hood and front bumper. I have some pictures and contact information if anyone is interested.
