What's involved in swapping 318is tank for 325?

Has anyone had any experience in swapping out their 318 fuel tank for a larger capacity 325? I’m assuming the basic dimensions are the same except for volume… However, given the fact that the 318 uses a single in-tank pump/sender (at least mine does), what are the differences in connections, etc? I just dropped the tank in my '90 318is to deal with a rust problem, and while it’s out am considering going with a larger capacity tank…

I haven’t done this, but if you have the in-tank high pressure pump configuration it should be a simple matter to swap in a late model (9/87 on) 325i/is tank.
