What happened to Paul Poore?

#1

I’ve been trying to order a spec exhaust from him to put on my car for Putnam since the current one may or may not fall off during the event. I initially heard back from him when I asked about the price but it’s been two weeks since I’ve told him I wanted to send him a check for one and I’ve yet to hear anything. Does he have a phone number that I could call him at? Putnam is only a few weeks away.

Nevermind. I just saw that they had it listed under the vendor section.

ALWAYS call him vs. email.

Just tried - number not in service message. Anyone have another contact?

Paul’s # is listed in various places here and some of the info is old. I’ll try to get that fixed. Here’s the correct info as of last month. Phone is better than email.

Why does it seem that his phone # seems to change as though he was in the witness protection program?

These ‘what’s his phone#’ threads remind me a lot of “Groundhog Day”

Thanks, I was calling the 215 number above and listed in vendor. I’ll try the 267 number tomorrow.

Well, altho I figured out the phone # changed and asked Mike Mills to change it in Contacts, I didn’t realize that Paul’s # is in multiple places. I’ll get it fixed.

I emailed him back and forth a few times. Apparently he’s out of exhaust right now but hopefully he’ll have some in stock soon. I was kind of hoping to get one in time for Putnam since my current exhaust is holding on for dear life and really should be replaced before it falls off on the track and someone runs over it.

Urg. Just heard back from Paul - no exhausts for a while. Guess it’s time to try some exhaust cement to plug up the leaks

#11

Weld it

#12

It’s the connection towards the middle of the car. It leaks a bit because the flanges are bent. Not sure what the previous owner did to accomplish that. The leak is bad enough now that it’s irritating to drive so I’m going to just slather some of the exhaust cement stuff around the flange in hopes that it seals it up somewhat.

fixed.

It sounds like something Midas should be able to handle. Take them some 3" pipe if that will help. They do so much welding on exhausts that most shops become pretty good at it.
