Watch for me at Daytona!

Some of you already know this, but I figured others may like to know as well. I will be driving the #98 Chevy Cobalt SS in the KONI Challenge race at Daytona next week. The race is Friday, Jan 25th, but I don’t yet know when it will air.

BTW, can you get Patrick Dempsey’s autograph for my wife :frowning:

#3

I’m looking forward to having someone to root for in that series!

GOOOO TURBOOOO!!!:woohoo:

#4

Way to go, Hollywood! Is this gonna be the season finale year then for Mike “Looking For Pole” Skeen in SE30?? I presume you won ‘Setup’ :woohoo:

#5

This team isn’t affiliated with Setup and I plan to annoy my fellow SE30ers for a while longer.

#6

good luck dude!!

#7

Congrats Mike - best of luck in the race!

Make sure team Cobalt doesn’t find out about your MLT association or it could all go wrong fast.

Any interest in a BeerTech/MLT sticker to strategically place on the Cobalt?

Good Luck

A BeerTech sticker:huh: Are you trying to sabotage our dude? I personally would like to see The Skeen finish. MLT sticker in the mail Mike.

Thats awesome! Cobalt is a good package in Grand Am so you can’t blame it on the car, but you can blame it on your teammate. Good Luck! I am available if they need an extra shoe;)

Mike,
My son and I are going to Daytona next weekend. We’d like to stop by and meet you. We had a blast there last year. We’re really looking forward to it. Good luck. We’ll be pulling for you.

Seth

Thanks guys! Anyone that’s gonna be there, feel free to stop and say hello. Look for a tall redhead–can’t be too many of them running around.

Good Luck Mike!

Go get 'em, Mike! I’ll be cheering for you!

Isn’t it great that NASA racers are getting opportunities like this? This speaks well for NASA and its racers.

And we can all say that we knew “Hollywood” when… Or, should we call Mike “Superstar Skeen”? No doubt that some kind of nickname will stick.

Congratulations on the ride at Daytona. This is really great news. I’m sure the team was impressed with your resume of trouncing JP, Patton&Patton, Canterbury, Travis, Taylor&Taylor, Moses, and the like.

Seriously, the ride is a result of the TV exposure that you can not discuss. But, can you tell us someting about how you did the deal?

Thanks in advance, Robert Patton

Mike, how was the transition from a RWD car to a FWD car? How did you have to change your driving style to get fast laps in a FWD car? Or was it not really that big of a deal?

#19

I’m giddy with anticipation of a Talledega Nights interview from Mike ‘pole sitter’ Skeen. Keep your hands down!

Seriously good work, make us proud.
