Hello
I need to thank some folks for helping to make my first Spec e30 event succesful
Bret & Kelly Luter and Sam Schultz for the Pit/Paddock work and Bret for all the welding…
Rob from Bimmerworld for loaning me his gloves, you saved me a bunch of trouble.
Jamie Halford for helping in the paddock and for bringing me the camber plates.
Victoria brough me some gell shoe pads for my cushionless race seat, made the 3+ hours a breeze.
Carter getting me to the back of the grid for the enduro probably saved me some body damage, thanks!
Chris C. for making sure I was ready to roll Saturday morning, the guys at K&E had not stamped the tech page in my logbook…
I made a few mistakes over the weekend, spinning on the first lap of the sprint while in 3rd was the biggest. I did not have the foglight blanking plates or ducts in my front valance,so my brakes never got to operating temp the whole weekend, I also left the rear swaybar on for the sprint. Having to pee during the first pit stop was not very smart either. If I did not have a fuel starvation/pee problem I probably could have made it on one stop, which would have been a big difference as I stopped at least 4 times…Gotta figure that problem out. Anyways enough excuses, I will be at Summit!
