VIR Spec E30 Poker night

Hello Yalles

As has been rumored, I bought a house about 4 miles from the main gate of VIR. It is a 1000 sq foot beach house, on pilings with a large front deck and a 1 acre lot. It is down a dead end road with a 1/3 mile dirt drive so it will be the perfect VIR party house. I was thinking of hosting a spec e30 Texas Hold em poker night during the VIR race weekend. Burgers and Beer would be provided.

Is there any interest?

Also I may be able to provide accomodations…not sure how far along the place will be, it needs a little work, but I should be able to provide some beds and a working toilet. The house rule is if you are going to stay ya gotta bring a fith of good likker to help stock the bar. I will keep yall posted on how it is coming along. Carter, hopefully the bar will be an actual piece of the "Hooray Harry’s" bar from the corner of Walker and Elam, Greensboro NC, did you ever go there?? The last night they were open, I passed out while taking a leak on the outside wall…

After the Sat. Activities on the track, we move to the Kart track for a 90 min Enduro…so maybe after that…Sounds like fun

Man! I haven’t heard that name in a loooong time. And yes, I had a few cold ones there many years ago.

I’m supposed to visit James White’s farm party on that Saturday night but I’ll make a point to swing by the Taylor Estate.

It figure’s the White’s Party is that Sat night!, may try to do something on Friday night at my place…as I will be "required" to attend the White’s. Hooray Harry’s was my high school hang out, I believe I had my first beer there when 15…no wonder I ended up at Military School!
