Will there be anyone arriving early enough on Fri to grab a big bunch of spaces for the Spec E30 crowd? How many are we expecting now anyway?
VIR paddock
I’m thinking we’ll have about 12 cars.
I’ll be one of the panel/comp school instructors so I’ll be there first-thing Friday.
I’ll try to rope-off a spot for everyone, or does NASA have a plan?
Carter
Current Paddock List:
[ol][li]Carter (1 car + MPV & trailer)[/li][li]David Herrington (1 car + ?)[/li][li]Dan Smith (1 car - Friday only)[/li][li]Mike Davidson (1 car+ trailer & tow?)[/li][li]Victor Hall (1 car + ?)[/li][li]Keith & Brandon Smith (2 cars + trailer & tow)[/li][li]Carlton (1 car + tow & trailer)[/li][li]Dave Pallister (1 car + tow & trailer)[/li][li]"Brain" Perry (1 car + tow & trailer)[/li][li]Alonzo Taylor (1 car + motorhome + monster volvo)[/li][li]Erle Smith (1 car + tow & trailer)[/li][li]Han ah-Sue (1 car)[/li][li]Alex May (1 car)[/li][/ol][ul]li Chris Cobetto (1 car + monster car hauler)[/li]li Sean Thompson (1 car + ?)[/li][/ul]
UPDATE
Never mind the machinations below – here is NASA’s paddock map:
Well, I’ll be there at 6:30am on Friday, and AFAIK, so will Carter, so I’ll be glad to help stake out an area – just let me know what location you guys (and gals) would prefer and how many cars/tow vehicles we’ll need to accommodate.
(There’s one other SpecE30 guy in the comp school, and I know that there’s a few future SpecE30 drivers in HPDE, so speak up, if you want part of the SpecE30 block.)
I’ll try to grab something in either blocks 1, 2, 3 or 4, since they’re closest to the concession area and fuel pumps.

I asked Chris about this and his reply was that he would like the Enduro teams to try to pit close to the grid to make setting up easier but besides that, I guess it is a free for all. Trying to play traffic cop when they come rolling in is nearly impossible. I will be there Thursday afternoon to set up Registration at the tech shed
I’ll be rolling in late Thursday night, and plan to grab some primo space for Salazarians, and Spec E30’ers.

SO #325
So should we compromise and stake out a section of, say #1 for the Enduro SpecE30’s and the adjacent section of #2 for the non-enduro E30 guys & gals, as well as tow vehicle and trailer parking?

Dan,
I’ll spread out as much as possible when I get in on Thursday night. In the past, 1 and 2 get taken quick, but we should be able to snag 3 and 4. I think we can expect some 20 cars in our "group" of E30’ers and friends of e30’ers.
I will be firmly planted in Location "A"
You might get Cobetto’s car to hold a spot
Looks like I/Brandon will now be in the SPRINT race only on Saturday. We will rollin Friday evening and probably pull out on Saturday post festivities… Two cars, trailer, tow HOE.
Keith Smith

Now that they have opened registration for a few more cars let’s get a count
- Harrington’s
- Carter
- Brain
- Dave and DP Motorworks
- Carlton
- Vic
- Smith’s
…who else, looks like victor is in charge, I will be there first thing in the morning on friday
Carlton
I’ve been keeping a running total on the front page of this thread.
As of right now:

Still waiting on:

Hey Allles
I WILL be there, still building car but it will be ready but slow. heavy etc…thursday night, will be dropping car, in addition will have Volvo Tow vehicle and Rigmaster F350 with slide in camper…I will try and bring some orange cones…I know with an event this big it is always a struggle to get everyone in.
Vic, you should ask Keefe to scare up some police tape (do we have any left over from the autoxs?) so you can mark off the paddock on Thurs.

Hello All,
Sorry for any foot dragging answers on my part. I will be there (car, trailer & Tow vehicle). I don’t know when however… I’m hoping to arrive around 8 PM Thursday night, drop the equipment and return Saturday AM very early. Friday is my wife’s birthday and I’m hosting the Beijing contingent (so we may have a few international visitors this weekend).
I’m seriously looking forward to seeing everyone again! My cell is (919) 259-2100 if you need anything.
