In-car video from #59. Started 11th, finished 6th(?) due to attrition.
Suffice it to say, the stock exhaust strangles the engine.

Man, they really checked out on you. Have you had the car dynoed yet? Does the stock exhaust really cost that many horses?
Ed Davidson said that you could barely even hear my car as it went by, through the uphill esses. Back in Februrary, Mike Davidson and I came out of Oak Tree side-by-side and were neck and neck until we got above 4500 rpm, then he just pulled away.
Starting 11th and finishing 6th means you drove a good clean smart race. I run open exhast all the way but it may hurt my low end due to no back pressure. I am going to try and run my car on a dyno in Raleigh next week, maybe we can hook up and test them the same time?

If you guys decide to get your cars dyno’d, let me know. I’d like to see what my car is putting down.

As soon as I can get it fixed I will let you know, the place is near the fairgrounds, I will call later this week and see what days/times they have open for dyno runs.

I have dyno sheets from that same dyno from last year so we can compare them all. Let me know if/when you guys go over there.
I have to admit that I’ve made a change to my car since then. I replaced the paper air filter with a brand-new paper air filter…

Let me know if you guys make a trip to the dyno. I don’t have an E30 yet, but I’d like to put my Turbo E28 on the rollers.
