unhappy with Vimeo

#1

I edited a video down under 500mb so I could put it on vimeo since I’m not paying for it. After about the 5th time of letting it upload for 20 minutes and then failing I’ve given up and am putting it on streetfire. Streetfire is free and the file size limit is 2 gigs. There is no weekly limit. Other than the fact that you can create a group on Vimeo why are we using it.

Watch one of the funniest videos ever and then add me. http://www.streetfire.net/video/bmw-e30-m3-vs-police_121121.htm

This isn’t a video I uploaded its just something to watch. My video is still uploading.

A bunch of us seem happy with the service. Personally, I like the feature that lets you download videos (if the user permits) so I can put them on my laptop to study later.

I too pay for the 5 gig service and have been happy with the playback quality.

Honestly, I only switched to paying for Vimeo because of the 15 minute limit on Youtube. My Youtube account got upgraded to allow videos longer than 15 minutes so I might switch back at some point. I haven’t had any issues with Vimeo though and in general I find their videos to load and stream the best. Youtube’s speed always seems to be hit or miss.

I have been using YouTube and have been very happy with it. My account can upload longer videos, so I haven’t had any issues there.
