Trackvision versus TraqStudio

#1

Has anybody had experience with recent versions Trackvision (2.1) and TrackStudio? If so, is there one you would recommend over the other?

Thanks, Erik

If you have Traqmate, get Studio because the two are integrated nicely. You can see all your data and video at the same time. The strength of Vision is that it allows a little more dashboard customization, at least as of a year ago. Studio has been getting more customizable lately.

There’s also something else to consider. It’s called dashware and it is made by chasecam. Absolutely incredible software. Makes dealing with tons of sensors easy and everything is customizable and template based.

I have been using it a lot and really like it.

FWIW, I was searching for some inexpensive software to do the data overlay on my video, and I came across this on Sunday.

http://www.racerender.com/ - it’s only $25 and does everything I was looking for with just a simple export from Traqview.

You can see the first video I made with it here: http://vimeo.com/10193602
