Well after the tow hook lecture at Hyperfest I figured I should get a tow hook since mine is long gone. I was wondering if anyone had one of the stock ones that screws in the front I could buy, or if anybody knows where I can get one…Google has not been very helpful to me. Thanks!

Depends on your car – the screw-in hook for the plastic bumper cars is available from the dealer for about $8. Aluminum bumper hooks are NLA (though the part number doesn’t indicate it at the dealerships – it simply pulls up the hook for the later cars, which doesn’t fit).
If you want to be really slick, pick up a Motorsport division tow strap for around $20 – it slips around the bumper shock and pulls though the bumper.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does NLA mean? As for later model hooks, my brother’s tow hook from his 93 325is screwed in just fine. I guess I’ll head to the dealer though, I thought they would charge much more than that!

I believe Bret Luter has these available. I was just out to his place (he is known as Rigmaster on this board) and noticed one on one of his cars there. May want to drop him a note… Just a thought - good luck!
