Here in NorCal it is the off-season until February. What do you guys do to your car in the off-season. Give me your top Three (3).

I will start:

  1. New windshield

  2. Dyno

  3. Check and replace if necessary seals, and bushings.

What are your priorities?

I definitely need to hit the dyno and figure out what is causing my high-rpm miss. :frowning:

I hope the Bimmerworld rear camber/toe adjusters get legalized so I can start and finish a weekend with the same alignment settings.

Bumper repair & realignment are probably in order. I might try my hand at a little paint and body work too. And I need to swap transmissions since mine is getting a little crunchy in downshifts to 3rd. Perfect box to put in my convertible when I do the manual swap there.

Hopefully the rookommie will work on his smack talk over the winter.

Next season I’ll just be a kommie, without the roo. And hey, give a foreign kid a break, I’m trying!

I got a whole laundry list of things. My belts and net expires this year, so I need new ones. Plus I’m thinking about pulling the seat and cleaning out/painting the inside to try and make it look decent. Have some small repairs also.

My list is very long.
Rebuild Calipers F/R
Replace control arms, bushing, trans. and motor mounts, exhaust, move the radio system and cool shirt system into the car,5 wheels and tires, shift light, traq mate, new steering wheel and quick release, tune up, new fluids and filters, water pump, fuel pump, belts, hubs, and a oil pan protector then some dyno time. I have a lot to do by March so I might be asking for advise on how to do some things.
