I’ll be running the Falken AZENIS at CMP. Any suggestions on tire pressures? Thanks.
Tire pressures for CMP
Talk to folks that know that tire to come up with a target hot pressure. Then set your cold pressures based on how hard you push your tires, ambient temp, tire temp, etc.
This might help:

Steven Canterbury and The Malt Liquor Tech guys are the only SE30 drivers I know who’ve run Azenis. May try to track them down or head over to bimmerforums and see if have better luck.
Stop by and say hey
ranger, didn’t you have some highly scientific analysis of tire pressure for when we ran azenis at cmp fall lemons?

We had some disagreements, but I don’t recall the details. I think that I was trying to get the team to run them with RA1 hot pressures in mind, so I wanted to use my standard CMP cold pressures. But other voices wanted 3-4psi more.
An interesting aspect of this hobby is that there’s powerful little agreement about anything. Doesn’t matter too much. It’s all fun and there’s many things that a person just has to figure out for themselves. I make my way work. Joe makes his way work. Sometimes there isn’t a right and wrong, just Ranger’s way and Joe’s way.
But Joe doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Ahhh, the use of a hypothetical to illustrate a point just a little too taxing mid-week?
I think someone swiped kishg’s logon. Kishg always struck me as pretty quick on the up-take. This clown ain’t him. Might be TeddyM3.
TeddyM3, you leave kishg alone. He doesn’t understand you like we do.

My ears was burnin’
I know your not calling me a clown. I’ll take all sorts of verbal abuse but I draw the line at being called a clown. My old man was a no good POS clown with the Spurberry Bigtop Show. I don’t know the man but my Mama’s told me all I need to know. I hate clowns. They’re twisted fuks who hide behind makeup and almost all of them are sexual preditors who pray on women who are lonly and a drink too much. So I’d appreciate if you don’t refer to me as a clown. I HATE clowns more than you hate your oil pressure being off by .005 PSI in a lefthander at 4700 RPM. I’d be down there an in yur face flyboy, but I’m having to work an extra shift this weekend.

When I saw Al at VIR last weekend he swore Teddy was a real person. But I am starting to have serious doubts.
That clown stuff was a hoot. Whether he is real or not, there are some very real scars in the brain connected to that keyboard!

Hey, we got a transcranial magnetic stimulator that can help with that if he wants. :woohoo:

Am I real? I’ve been on TV, Be-otch!!
Google “airbag to the crotch” and chances are you’ll find me on YouTube.
I’ve met alot of your e30 bro’s. I know Gayger, Skeenie, Weird Al, The Barfman himself (T Wilson), All the BeerWreck MoFo’s, Can’t her berry, SassShay JerkHouzen and a few other. Why don’t people belive I exist? Wait till next year boys… All will know and fear the Ted.
I’ll be like Ralien on sterroids. I will be so fast Gassman will think I’m cheating before I even get on grid. You guy will never sea a rookie sensation of the likes of me. I will rock the house! I will… Race Your Face OFF!!!
Oh… 28 psi front 29.5 rear
For some reason I’m wanting some popcorn…  :woohoo:
If I were to design a Southeast SpecE30 t-shirt that said “Race Your Face Off”, would anyone be interested in it?
BTW: Teddy, I think those pressures may be a bit low for the track temp this weekend. But thanks for finally saying something that was on topic (or at least trying)
