Tire pressure for Summit Point?

#1

I have searched the thread but come up empty on this one.

I am going to Summit in 2 weeks to do the NCCBMWCCA 2 day driving school. Today I mounted a new set of Falken AZENIS RT-615 205/50R15 on Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 - 15x7 wheels. I will be using these for both days of driving. I plan to - scruff - them a bit before track day (under the cloak of darkness!!). My E30 has the suspension done to Spec E30 with Bilsteins and H&R springs, and centered urethane control arm bushings. I have new ATE rotors and I am using Hawk Plus pads. The rest of the car is mostly stock with new exhaust, belts, fluids, hoses, clamps, filters etc.

Now what would you consider a good tire pressure to start off the Summit session with considering this setup? Any tips on hot cold settings?

Thanx

John

I have run at summit a few times & use 34 front, 36 rear, which I adjust accoring to ambient temps, and readings after a run.

I run a '91 318is with the following:

205/50r15 Azenis RT-615’s on 15x7 Konig “rewind” rims with a 15mm o/s.
H&R sports & Bilstein sports
off-set rubber c/a bushings
poly rear subframe bushings
poly motor & trans mounts
s.s brake lines (all 6)
super blue fluid
Hawk ht-10’s front & rear
Powerslot rotors

Hope this helps.
