Does anybody race these things in Texas??
I’m very interested in the E30 class, but I haven’t heard of anybody racing them around here (Houston). I know I could still run the E30 in the IT class, but just wanted to see how many Texan E30s were out there.
According to the profiles there is 1 planning to build, but there are none currently racing in Texas. You would have to get the ball rolling 
I’ve considered going out there mostly to visit friends but also to gain my first Nasa "winner" sticker haha :laugh:
If I make the trip it would be when they go to MSR in Dallas.
I just moved to Austin from LA a couple months ago, and I’m in the (long) process of getting the car setup for spec e30. I’ve briefly toyed with the idea of running KP instead, but the extra cost involved in car setup and this video:

pretty much convinced me to stay with my original thoughts. I was trying to watch other car development in Cali, and it seemed very slow to start but seems like it’s starting to grow now. Just finished the CCA race school at MSR last weekend, hopefully racing within a year or so. I think if we can get a couple cars underway more will follow - I think there were only one or two KP cars in the national o’fest CCA race, so it’s not like there’s a big contingent there either as far as I know.
