SuperComp school video

#1

Here’s a quick look at the first of 2 simulated races at the end of the SuperComp school at VIR North on Friday. This one starts with a standing start and terminates with a black flag after ~3 laps. Cool as it was, the 2nd race was better, featuring a rolling start and more like ~10 laps (they just let us go and go). I haven’t finished editing the 2nd vid yet, and when it’s done it will be posted on our blog (with my write-up on the SuperComp school), rather than Youtube. I’ll put a link here when all that’s done.

ps- if you plan to make fun of my see-sawing death grip on the wheel, be advised you won’t be the first! :side:

Yeah that race was supposed to be 3 lap, Black flag, re-start, 3 more laps
JJ decided to let it go since we had the time…
Glad you had fun.

Yeah, I ran out of gas on the second restart because I thought it was supposed to be only 3 laps. I came in after 5 laps because of fuel starvation. I think Chris was pissed about it until he realized that there was a miscommunication about the length of the second race.

Matt,

It was great meeting you at comp school. Your steering wheel grip doesn’t look too bad. I won’t say anything because I have the worst habit of tilting my head into turns. Its so bad that I’m embarrassed to post my video from Saturday’s race. :frowning:
I guess a Hans device would take care of that bad habit.

Just to save the pain…ALWAYS make sure you have at least 1/2 tank in the E30

Hi Ken:
It was great having you as my "learning partner" for Friday. Sorry I couldn’t stay and race :frowning: However I hope to be at the MA event at Summit (dunno what class I will be in by that time).
