Summit Aug 26-27

Curious who will be at this race. I’d like to come and see some cars, take photos and pump you guys for information.
Anyone know if a non-competing NASA member can get in as a spectator? I’ve never tried to do that. I usually run HPDE but am desperately trying to sell the car to make room for the E30. :stuck_out_tongue:

NASA does not charge admission to spectate in general, only The Hyperfest so come on out. Summit is also our Home track, so the turnout is usually pretty good. It is still a little early for the official list to be populated but I would expect at least 10 E30 guys between HPDE and racing…hopefully more than that. Come on by registration and say Hi and I will introduce you to the crews

My August race will be at Road Atlanta with the NASA Southeast guys. We have a couple of new cars coming in down there so I want to race with them and help promote Spec E30 there. But definitely go to Summit and introduce yourself to the Spec E30 crowd.

My available day is Saturday. We plan on taking a lot of photos, so hide all your secrets. :whistle:
I can’t remember; is there a race on Sat or just qualifying?

there is a race both days. Practice and Qual before lunch, race in the afternoon…

Looks like ddavidv (my brother-in-law) may have to attend this event solo. I have to attend a b-day party for my 1 yr. old niece. :frowning:

I picked up my '87is a few weeks ago, and just finished replacing all seals, hoses, gaskets to keep my garage floor looking new. I hope to have it sorted and the spec suspension on by the Oct 14-15 Summit event.

It’s good to hear that you’re moving forward.

And don’t be hurt if you see a drip or two. Almost every E30 in the world oozes something. But good luck. You might have caught them all.
