Steering lock roll pin

#1

Ok, been searching forum for a while, and see some posts saying to push the roll pin out and remove the steering lock pin, but how? There is no way to get a tool, punch, nail, whatever in on the left side of the pin. I looks like it wants to move to the right.

Also, it looks like there is some kind of spring (looks like a paper clip or similar) on the botton of the lock pin. Do we remove this too?

Thanks,
Mike

Ok, used a pair of dykes to walk/pry it out. Worked great, pin came right out. The lever that raise the and lowers the pin seems to stay in place so I left it. Should have tried this before I asked.
