Welcome to the chat Jim, the last I remember you off right at RA and backwards at Barber. I look forward to having you back. It sounds like the back half will have the most fun.

which will be the front of the IFU…

This weekend is shaping up to be a very good group. There should be some dicing going on all throughout the pack. All 3 races should be great racing.

It’s nice to see such a good turnout. That’ll just give me a few more suckers to finish behind me

That’s like saying “I’m more cheerful than IndyJim.”

It really doesn’t narrow it down for us.

Ok, Beers at WalshLako Camp and we can sort this out. I look forward to my first trip to CMP. Who is camping at the track? What time does the gate close on friday night?

Not sure who all plans to camp. I know I am and there’s a good chance Jones, Al and Travis will be camping out as well. I think Ranger and Stevie D have said they were camping out too.

If Jeff and Tom Hall show up, they’ll be camping… but I haven’t heard final word on whether or not they are coming

Jones is bringing his grill (and hopefully some gas)
I’m bringing a bunch of hot dogs/burgers and there’s sure to be plenty of beer

If someone (or someone’s) can handle buns, chips and condiments, we’ll be set. It’ll be like a Mid-Atlantic soirée without the tent and banners

It would be nice to get a head count of how many want to cookout Friday night.

Who’s in?

#107

Walsh and I will be camping but I do not know when we can make it Friday, some of us have to work for tires. Ill check back with you when we are sure about timing. We can set up some tents and bring whatever is needed.

#108

I’m camping. After the enduro I’ll find out what we need for chow and I’ll run to Kershaw and fetch it.

If it’s pretty girls that we need I’ll have to drive farther. And maybe bring Brian as a lure.

#109

I will be camping and bringing my grill, with a full tank of gas, a cooler with some cheap beer (what do you expect?)

Clarissa will be coming with and hopefully two of her single friends as well…they are still tentative at best. I think I can convince them to come but once they get another dose of Travis’ “top shelf” game, it may be all she wrote. Plus, the Al Taylor show will be in full effect, not sure how to describe that so I dont even try anymore.

Does anyone have a folding table we can use? I’ll have an 8’x 8’ pop tent as well as a few chairs.

#110

I have a folding table. Whether I remember to bring it or not…

Also it was in part of the garage demo derby so it may be I 'had" a folding table.

#111

I am camping. My plan is to leave Atlanta around noon on Friday so that puts me at the track around 5 or 6. I have a couple folding tables and an EZUp I can bring.

I assume we will be on the skidpad side of the paddock again?

#112

I plan on camping as well. I Have a couple pop ups I could bring if needed. A Drip tray on top of a stack of tires makes for a really good table.

I will be camping, my plan is to have our paddock area looking like a Haitian slum by about 3pm, then start drinking…

#114

BAM!(that was an F-Bomb) I can’t believe this race is still 2 weeks away…
There’s been so much time between races that I’m inventing shit to do to my car. I’m so ready for this race to happen.

Did some work on Travis’s new ride yesterday. No idea what kind of power he’s making, but it is nice. I was impressed.
He also said he might bring the huge tent from the spring Lemon’s race. it’s mere presence will not only give Al the Haitian slum he’s always dreamed of, it will strike fear in the hearts those who question mediocrity… anywho… see you chicken F’er in 11 days, 6 hours and 9 minutes (if you get there by 3:00)

Fixed it for ya.

I actually spent a couple hours this weekend going through my spares boxes and updating the lists of which box each thing is in and what crap I need. And pondering questions like “Why do I have four new front rotors and one used pair of rears?” and “Why do I have a water temp sensor for an eta motor?” and “What in God’s name is THIS?”

#116

Wow, everybody is camping. I wasn’t planning on getting there until Saturday, but may have to come down Friday night.

#117

Oh Hell Yeah. This ain’t no high skool beer party!!! I was text’n with that smokin hot FartBref chick and she was telling this was on. I know I’ve said I was cummin to the track and was gonna lay the smack down and race your faces off but I had some stuff come up and had to leave town. I’ll fill you in on it later. Too much to tell right now but it was some crazy shit.
In order to take my trip I had to hoc some parts. so I can’t get out on the track and smack you around like bunch of unproductive ho’s. But I might come down for Friday nights Ho Down :woohoo:
I’ll bring some of my Uncle Jessy shine (no shit. thats his name) and my girlfriend who tends to misplace her close at outdoor partys. If anyone need me to crew for you in the enduro. I’ll be happy to help if you pay half my gas money.

#118

Teddy sounds like he painted his car while he was away from the forums… with the garage door shut!

#119

I thought we locked up the crayons months ago…Did somebody slip a fresh box of Crayolas thru the bars?

#120

Official count up to 21 with addition of Rick Mariani from MA. Looking pretty good.

Is everybody signed up for IFU also?
