Spec Exhaust Question Regarding VIR

I think I remember reading somewhere that either Carter or the supplier will be bringing a large number of exhausts to VIR in a week. Is this correct or did I just pull that out of thin air?

Paul called me and is planning to bring me one to the track to avoid shipping costs. I think he’s bringing others too.

I seem to remember that there is some cutting involved in the install, any idea how quick one of these things will be to get onto the cars at the track?

2nd that… Picking it up at the track would be ideal. And while I don’t plan to race at VIR this year… it’s only a 45 minute drive.

That’ll give me a good excuse to be a spectator.

If all those who are building got theirs, then I guess I should get in line to get mine.

My exhaust is being delivered to VIR and I just found out yesterday I’ll be able coming up to spectate.

Anyone have the contact information for Paul the exhaust guy handy…I’ms sure it’s buried in the many exhaust threads…but I really don’t want to go through that again!

We are building two cars and we’re 22nd in line. I’m hoping if there are extra units available, they get shipped to those already ‘on the list’.

I don’t know the plan for the weekend but I think Paul is bringing some to VIR.

It only takes about 15 minutes to install, after getting the old exhaust off the car and if someone is good with a reciprocating saw, he can have in done quickly.

We’ll talk about it Saturday morning.
