Hey Everyone,

It was great meeting everyone this weekend. The Sunday race looked like so much fun. Here are some pics that I took from the turn 2 stands. I am looking forward to racing with all of you soon probably the second race in June race at the hill.

Hey guys, I wanted to also throw out a big THANKS and much respect for Kevin, Adam and Rich. When my car got bent in qualifying, I had to go fill out paperwork and Kevin and Rich both got in there without a single word and just started looking for the issue and totally called it right so I could fix it in time to race. Plus, the guy who ran into me (Pete B.) offered his substantial resources to help wherever he could and he did help with loan of a camber gauge and his time. Then, since I don’t have the plates or the know-how to do toe, Kevin got up from his comfortable place in the shade, got his toe plates and he and Adam helped set and educate me at the same time on setting the toe. Also, my buddies Dennis Golden and Jeff Murphy got in there on the fusible link. Plus, I don’t know how many guys (Mike S., Ilya, and others) walked up and offered to help I’m kind of speechless (ok, not that speechless :cheer: ) with gratitude and respect for what guys like you bring to our game. Plus, Adam is a regular junkyard scout and offered to look for a black door and fenders for me, which is really nice too. Kevin, Adam, Mike and Rich I know will read this, so thanks guys - I hope I can return the favor sometime, and everyone can count on me to offer my tools and hands if they ever have problems like I had Sunday. I really appreciate it and thinks it says a lot about the camaraderie of our group.

By the way, it looks to just be body damage and minor at that. The hit was right on my wheel/quarter/door which hosed my alignment and caused the fusible link wire to get pinched and caused a short against the cage. All very fixable and the car is not badly damaged. I will be replacing the door and quarter and re-running all the wires on the inside of the cage rocker bar and will go ahead and wrap in flex conduit at the same time to protect from cuts or whatever. Suggest everyone look where the wires run in your car and protect them - a little thing like that can knock you out of the fun.

Cheers,
AJ

Ya Ya Little grasshopper you will some day get your chance at victory. If you havent noticed the guys on the podium seem to have mech issues once in a while, that is to be expected when you drive 10/10ths. Your team member isn’t going out of his way saving the car for your race so what’s your excuse?
By the way the Tranny failed…stuck in second gear again…And no alex i wasnt waiting for it between nuetral…thats .0000003 seconds a shift…I have no time for that in a race.

No problem A.J. I am always there to lend a helping hand to anybody. If you guys keep getting faster like you are I might have to reconsider sharing my setup knowledge! All jokes aside though, don’t hesitate to hit me up for information. I know if I need the favor returned some day you guys will be there for me.

I really admire how you dealt with the situation and got right back out on track like nothing ever happened…good work A.J.!

Nice Elliott!

We can talk about radio options if you’re interested. I think they would be a very useful tool for you.
