it looks like a pretty scary track to run door/door on. Those walls seem like they would come up pretty fast if you went off the track even a little bit.

Yup!

I was a passenger in a street E30 when we hit the wall in the right hander just before the bridge.

Got sideways, caught it, got sideways again saved it but then got a wheel off and away we went. Hit hard enough to total the car and smack the drivers head against the B pillar. Not much driver could do about it once he had lost it and got the wheel off.

Fun track to drive, like your favorite virginia back road…humps, dips, off camber, blind, new pavement… old pavement…and lots of stuff just off the road to run into…(at least there are no pickups coming in the opposite direction)

The walls aren’t really that close, you just have to know that you if you get out of sorts you have to just shut it down instead of trying to save it. I never really noticed the walls while racing.

It certainly isn’t VIR where you can drive forever in ost spots before finding anything to hit.

But I think it is a fun and challenging track to drive. I had one of my best races ever there. 11 laps never more than .7 sec apart. Nerve wracking!!!
