Sebring June 23-24

Just wondering if anyone is planning to attend? I’ll probably attend but I won’t be racing.

NASA FL doesn’t recognize spec e30 yet does it? it would be cool to have a gruop of spec e30s race Sebring though.

When is the GRM car going to be done? Presumably they would want to race near home sometimes.

Good point. And when they show up to race I’m guessing that there will be a large caravan of Spec e30 racers to "greet" them.

Everyone wants their 15-minutes of fame and fortune.

Their entry into NASA will likely open the floodgates for development in Florida. This is great news.

It will be fun to watch the development. We’ve talked informally about an invitational-type races at Road Atlanta and VIR… even Mid-Ohio before the Nationals race. With a large field of racers, Sebring would make for a fun trip.

AFAIK, all NASA regions are required to offer the national series/classes if people sign up. I don’t see why they would turn anybody away - you would just be grouped with other series in a run group.

Lets see, Rockingham or Sebring in June, oh which one will I choose. This is such a dilema. Seriuosly if we could get a seriuos commitment from about 8+ spec e30s I would probably be willing to go. Who’s in?

You know that is what I thought too but Spec E30 does show up on the entry form. Regardles they certainly wouldn’t turn anyone away as Bruce stated.
