Seat wanted

#1

I sat in a Racetech 4000 and a Sparco Pro 2000 today. Very nice.
Who makes a similar seat, but with a head restraint.

The above was edited after Igor pointed out that most seats have a "Halo" type restraint as opposed to just right side.

Anyone have such a seat that they want to sell, or know someone who does? I’m near Roebling, am 6’ tall, narrow waist & reasonably broad American shoulders.

Thx, -Scott

Alright then, Superman you, or Ranger you, or whatever superhero you. As any proper super hero you would need halo I suppose

On a more serious note, I don’t know of any seat that has just "right side head restraint"; they usually have no head restraint, or have one that goes on the right and left side of the seat. They are called just "seat head restraint", but also refered to as "halo" as well.

Additionally you can get ‘right side net’ as additional protection, but that is not part of the seat.

I have Racetech RT 4009 WTHR (has halo). I got it from Walter at http://vmwerks.com

you can see variety of Racetech seat models here:

Igor - 6’ 5" and 235 lb of Eastern European stature that needs wide and tall seat

Re. 6’ 5" and 235lb. Good god Igor. I’ll take care not to annoy you.

And that’s "Captain America", by the way.

Thx for the info. I edited my origonal post based on your comments. The RT 4009 WTHR looks good. Would be nice to find a similar seat used.

Aw, he’s a teddy bear :silly: . A really big and smart teddy bear…

Good luck with your seat find…

Ok, how 'bout a seat without a halo? Who’s got a seat, or pair of seats without a halo, that they’d like to sell. I sat in a number of seats today, and I found that the left-side restraint of the halo is more of a pain then I imagine a net would be.

Yes, one shouldn’t whine about inconvenience when it comes to safety, but I’m a whiner by nature.

That was sarcasm.

Scott, you’ll probably just need the RT 4009 HR. The WTHR is the wide version. I have the standard one in my car and really like it. 6’3", 200#
