Hey everyone,
Converting my car to run SE30 in the Midwest and am trying to chase down how I may procure the SE30 front or rear windshield banner I see on most cars. Is there a specific vendor everyone uses?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
SE30 windshield banner etc
Good looking car - Looks a lot like mine
Contact Carter Hunt - I am pretty sure that I got mine (rear window banner) from him. You can find him by using a search function.
I have a Tire Rack banner on my front windshield as I dabble in BMW CCA racing too. They require (and provide) that banner as Tire Rack is a sponsor of the CCA program.
Good Luck,
Don
There is no required windshield banner for the series. However there’s been a couple instances of a region working out a sponsorship deal and as a result they had a required windshield banner.
There is no required rear window banner either. But some cars do have a similar SpecE30 decal back that that is probably what Don is referring to.
One way or another, your rear window need to ID you as a SpecE30. So it can either say SpecE30, or it can say SE30.

7.4.1. Each car shall display easily readable numbers on each side and the front (hood) and rear of
the vehicle, of significant size and color differentiation from the body color so as to be clearly
seen by timing and scoring officials. Side numbers shall be a minimum of 8 inches high with a
1-1/2 to 2 inch stroke. Hood and rear numbers shall be a minimum of 5 inches tall. Each car
shall have SE30 on both sides of the car, in a color contrasting to the mounting/painted
surface. Each letter and number must be at least 3” tall and must have a stroke of at least ½”.
Also required is the same SE30 in white, at the lower left corner of the rear window, and
written backward at the base of the front windshield. Cars displaying Spec E30 are not
required to add SE30 to their rear window
What does this italicized part mean exactly? Cars displaying Spec E30 where are not required to add it to their rear window?
Somehow I missed the rear window part. Time to order more vinyl…
As SE30 series director for Great Lakes I have a few of these that I offer for sale to my racers. I would check with your series director and see if he has any. We purchased them from Carter and pass on the cost. I could also send you one if need be. They are $30 each.
Ah, I see why I didn’t pay attention to that part, I’ve got “SE30” on the rear of the car, just not on the window. Kosher?

I don’t think anyone will give a stink, but the rules say SE30 and/or a Spec E30 rear window banner.
