Well, I assume that you would have been contacted by Sean or Chris if you were waitlisted.

Of course, we’d know for sure… if they’d post the drivers list more than a week before the event. :pinch:
The drivers list is not the easiest thing to produce. I have to pick a point in time where all the information is static. The car numbers, need to be sorted out, people cancel, people get in off the wait list…it is a huge pain. I have been working on the event since 8:30 this morning.it is 10:15 PM now. I am trying to get people contacted for the HPDE wait list to take spots from cancellations and I have to be sure no 2 cars on the track in ANY session have the same number.Every new entrant changes things. This is a huge job. With that said,I always read this board, at the very least every other day, but usually several times a day. I always answer email within 24 hours but usually much quicker than that. Feel free to call me even if you have a question.
We have no secrets as to how this all works.
Sean,

No offense meant – I know that you and Chris (and doubtless Laura and even Cooper) are working your butts off. I was just doing my duty to bitch and moan frivolously. Sorry.

It’s all good. I am pretty hard to ofend. Pulling this event off is tough, but it is worth all the work up front when it goes smoothly at the track. Drivers list will be up today

i’ll wait with bated breath. Regardless of if i’m the race or not I will thoroughly enjoy attending this event.

Good work, I can’t imagine having to deal with all of the entries.
Hi Carter,

I’ll be at VIR and will surrender my car to a racer or instructor to provide rides assuming the timing works out. I’m running HPDE3, The car still has a passenger seat (racing shell and 5 pt harness just like the driver side…

If you’ll let me, I’d like to take them out for a lap. Probably a couple of Dads for one lap each.

6/10ths is plenty fast. They’ve never been in a car so that will feel very fast to them, I’m sure. I’ll ask Chris if we can do it during the instructor session.

And I’ll buy your lunch.

Thanks!

Carter
