Does anyone know the meaning of rule 9.3.6.1: Drive shaft may be substituted.
Does that mean we can run a carbon-fiber or other lighweight-composite driveshat?
Not that I would…but just wondering.
Thanks,
Rob

Read 8.4 which defines what "substituted" means. Only OEM or equivalent driveshafts can be used.
yeah, all through that section you have to be careful to read it with an understanding of the meaning of the words defined in 8.4.
