RR Factory 3 Performance Inverted Field Unlimited!

Group, the race is on! I talked to Jim Pantas this evening, and we’ve lined up some overtime at the end of the day on Saturday, for next weekend’s Roebling Road Rumble!

How does a 45-minute, Inverted Field Unlimited (IFU) race sound?

Price to be finalized in the next few days, but it will be no higher than $75 per racer!

Where else can you get 45 minutes of inverted fun for that kind of price?

Stay tuned for details, and payment methods. Generally speaking, the racers will pay Factory 3 for the race, and I will collect this and make a single payment to NASA for the extra resources.

If we can get enough of you SE30 guys and gals to sign up, we can keep the race to just SpecE30 cars. If we run light on commitment, we may need to explore bringing in some GTS people as well, but let’s try and fill the track with E30s!

It will be the only thing between the spectators and the beer-n-BBQ, so we should have plenty of spectators cheering us on.

Jim Pantas even said he’d sign up and run with us, so it’ll be a chance to kick some Panther butt w/o hotshoe Rob Summers in the car !!

Won’t be any drinking for the spectators. The Track Nazi lady does not allow drinking while cars are still on track, ask Foushee;) BTW are we going to have light, it gets dark kinda of early now?

Just a clarifcation before I commit… When you say "inverted", you’re talking about the starting positions of the cars and not the cars themselves right?

It will be great to see a full pack of only E30s on the grid.

Perhaps this will get additional folks from the MA area to "come on down." With represenative Skeen tuned-in, Damion on thhis favorite track, Taylor and Summers as hot shoes, Patton on her favorite track, and a host of other SE talent ready to race, there ain’t gonna be no MA racers winning at a Southeast event no more.

Man, I can talk big when I don’t have to back it up.

PS, just ran South Course VIR Friday, I want to talk to Peter Krause about having a Spec e30 1 hour race with the ALFA club/VSCCA next spring on the south course, it would of course be a fun/no points race…25 cars on that course would be a blast…sorry to hijack.

Fellow SpecE30ers, the price for the race will be $75/racer, payable by cash or check to Factory 3 Performance. You must be driving a SpecE30 car to compete.

The starting grid will be inverted based on our qualifying times from the Lightning group earlier in the day.

Let’s plan to keep it fun, and remember, this isn’t even for points. I know we’d all like this to be successful, and to be just the first of an ongoing series of IFU races in the future.
