We should do another Friday night low country boil. Calling Laura, calling Laura.
Roebling Road thread
Yeah, for sure we should. I can actually make it to the track early enough this time! Laura, if you need a shopping assistant, let me know.
I also have a big pot/gas burner setup if needed.
Double down? PT, you mean? Count MBTB in. 5 cars! Just waiting for the discount! Maybe Jim will run PT in thunder if there’s not enough racers.
Is there a Friday test and tune?
Yes. Look up Seat-Time. They have a lot of track time for the dollar.
Here is the list so far:
Issa, Mark
Taylor, Charles
Espinosa, Sandro
Whitinger, Ryan
WALSH, DAVID
Switzer, Fred
Gress, Scott
Bratton, Richard
Lako, Steven
Parkhurst, Laura
I know Dad, Robert Patton, will be there.
I’m still noodling on the idea of a low country boil as NASA is advertising putting one on for the party on Saturday.
Let’s get more people registered. I thought I heard rumor that Damion may be making an appearance…
I’m hoping that we do the cookout on Friday, but if we don’t, another possibility is Friday night dirt circle track racing at Oglethorpe Speedway. OSP is near the airport, call it halfway between RR and downtown Savannah.
I can’t take credit for the OSP idea, but it is an interesting one. In any case, my preference is for the cookout, but I’ll bring the family to whichever one the crowd decides upon.
i second the ogelthorpe speedway idea. Last year i brought in a cooler of beer and saw two fights on the track. Cheap entertainment…
The Supersize entry is on the registration page! Anybody who wants to run both Lightning and Thunder can run Spec-E30 in Lightning and PTD in Thunder. Since we only go to Roebling Road once you should try to make the most out of it by having four races rather than just two. Oh and tell all your buddy’s who haven’t signed up yet to hurry, only 12 days left until the event, Sign up now!!

Definitely considering supersizing. I think McKay mentioned last time he had copies of the PT forms that need to be completed, but he may be a bit preoccupied since he came out of Sebring with a sick motor. (Sorry to see that Scott, you were hauling ass down there until it went sour.)
Does anyone else have a clean set that can be copied and the name, etc. filled in?
Also, can someone elaborate on the decal requirements?
Chuck, I sent you the paperwork. I think you just need PTD on both sides of the car. Cheers!!
Sandro, can you email me over the paperwork as well just in case I decide to jump in on this PTD thing?
