Roebling Road thread

All in. Should be fun!

#22

The class size #'s are looking up. What time is everyone showing up? We need to decide whether or not we’re going to do something on Friday night. If we did something at 7PM, how many could make it in time?

#23

Track opens at. 5, I’m planning to be there then.

Schedule is out by the way. No shortage of track time!

Shrimp boil Saturday night so Laura gets to take the weekend off from cooking.

The racetrack outing sounded like it would be fun.

Bring bug spray. No-see-ums might have moved inland by then.

Roebling is asking folks to keep trailers off Zeigler Rd. All trailers, not just big rigs like used to be the case.

What they’re asking us to do is instead of turning off of Hwy 80 on to Zeigler, stay on Hwy 80 for a couple hundred yards West until you hit a Y in the road. Stay right to and take Hwy 17 / 30 for about a mile and then turn right on Roebling Rd.

Track opens at 5pm on Friday? (Chuck, thanks - I forgot it probably wouldn’t be open sooner - should have read the supps!). So no point in me arriving before 5pm anyway, right?

Jealous :frowning:

The circle track idea (8pm) is still possible. I’m conflicted on whether or not to bring a grill, burgers, dogs, fixings and such. I’ll hang around the track a bit and see what folks are interested in doing. My cell is 912 604-5437 should anyone want to conduct near coord ops Friday afternoon/evening mit der party-meister.

Heading out for Mexican is always good. Especially if Sandro’s coming.

This weekend will be the first time out in the “new” Spec E30 for me. My first time down at Roebling as well. I’ll be running DE’s this weekend, but I wouldn’t mind parking around the SE30 guys if that’s not a problem.

#29

Sure.

Nothing makes new friends like bringing the beer.

#30

I don’t think I’ll be able to swing beer; will juice boxes suffice? I have actually been hanging around with the Whitinger’s at a few races, but I don’t believe I’ve really introduced myself to anyone. Looking forward to meeting everyone this weekend.
