Al, I just don’t want to talk about it. Okay? Regards, Robert ( building up the suspense) Patton

Looks like there wasn’t too much suspense on this thread…it was a good try, don’t you think? Seriously, as we did on Saturday, the e30 racers started at the end of the field. I got a good start and put some distance between myself and David, as I raced side-by -side Hinkley for two laps. We got into clear traffic and Mike checked- out. Not long after that, here comes Cullen. I’m leading when some goofball Honda driver goes off track and decides to pull on in front of me. As I check up, Cullen and a Miata go blowing past. I give chase only to flat spot a tire going into the infield. The win goes to Cullen…But no, as I come out of turn 9 I see his car nudged against the inside retaining wall. A driver side front panel, and a dent to the bumper and hood were the extent of the damage. Kind of…we’ll have to get it up in the air to determine why it won’t shift. I "thumped around" for three more laps to finish the race. So, the Rockingham results, Al Taylor a victory on Saturday and Patton was lucky to finish the other races with excuses #12, #26,#17, and #12 comming into play. Regards, Robert (yes, I’ve got the excuses printed up for easy pit and garage reference) Patton
