I just heard yesterday that Road Atlanta is going to get a repave. The old pavement along with all the concrete patches will be removed or ground down to make it smoooooth. I didn’t get any details as to when though. Road Atlanta has almost no down time so I’m sure it will be a tight schedule when the machines start.

I heard a Porsche club lost (or had to postpone) their track event early '07 because of the paving. Purely hearsay though.
I had heard T12 was an issue, but I’m glad that it sounds like any modifications there will be for the bikes only. For us, sounds like just a repave with a couple walls moving back. I don’t know where they plan to put this motorcycle T12 on the left side of the track–must be somewhere around the current pit-in.
