I’m making book on who gets hurt first, Ranger or Rev. Al:laugh: What do you think? Chuck
Ranger's Ski Thread
my money’s on ranger… that or he’ll be hooking up sensors to his ski’s to measure the coefficient of friction
Fresh powder today, but mostly ice so not much friction, Ranger has turned his ski’s in and is unhurt…unless he slips on ice on way to airport…I have a few more weeks, here in winter park till end of month then Wolf Creek Durango in Feb…trying not to get hurt, don’t jinx me…

i’m sitting in the denver airport waiting for my flight. i brought a buddy along for the 3 days of skiing…my roommate from college and now a vy senior guy with lapd. we had a great time. snow and wx weren’t perfect but still workable. darn few girls in town to amuse ourselves with but we made do with whatever was in the area. funniest event was when my high end 17yr old ski boots completely falling apart just before i stepped up to my first chair ride of the trip. one minute i was wearing skis…stepped forward and wasn’t wearing skis. My skis were suddenly behind me and i was standing in the snow in my stocking feet, and was surrounded by a debris field of plastic…which was all that remained of the bottoms of my ski boots. In boots that were largely missing from the ankles down, I walked back to the ski rental place in order to rent some of their boots. In my wake was a trail of more plastic bits.
