I’d stay with hotdogs they are quick and easy. Give me something to bring because Shannon won’t allow me to bring nothing.
I’m a veggie
From what I’ve seen of you on the track, this doesn’t surprise me… :woohoo:

#43

This thread is too quiet!!! Who’s planning to finish second? Put me down for the number one spot on both days!!! Ya’ll better bring your A-Game!

#44

OK I will bring the dogs and buns. We have plates and utensils from previous lunches. If some of you want to bring things here are some ideas. Let us know what you plan on bringing so we don’t have too many duplicates.

Chips
Coleslaw or potato salad
Deserts
Drinks?
Other ideas?

#45

I’ll bring brauts and chips. Ohhhh, and I’m gonna bring the smack (not literally) too!

#46
We’ll bring the coleslaw and potato salad. I’d say everyone is on their own for drinks to keep it simple.

#47

I’ll be bringing brauts too. How many you plan on bringing?

#48

Easy AquaMan, don’t get your underroos in a bunch just yet.
(Translation: We haven’t been on track together yet. )

Should be fun, hopefully we get mostly dry weather. For those that haven’t been to Putnam before, the paddock is likely to be soft/swampy since it’s been raining 80% of the time for the past 2 weeks.

AquaMan? Now that’s low… You didn’t drive last October? My mistake… It’s gonna be a great weekend rain or shine!

I’m having some last minute serious issues. I have a massive brake fluid leak by the fire wall. I can’t tell if it’s the master cylinder brake booster or what. So if you guys have any of these spare parts please bring them to track tomorrow and I’ll buy them from you. Also if any of you guys have a clue what this is off the bat let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Cameron

Cameron, check to make sure your brake fluid reservoir is seated in the two seals on top of the master cylinder and make sure it doesn’t have any cracks. Also check to make sure the hose going to the clutch master cylinder (driver side of master cylinder reservoir) is still attached and not leaking. It could have fallen off. Check your brake lines to make sure they are all tight and haven’t sprung any leaks. If the reservoir and the brake lines aren’t leaking, then the problem must be with leaky seals in the master cylinder. If you think it’s the master cylinder, then head to the auto parts store in the morning and try to find one. You can always return it if someone comes up a used one. I don’t have a spare…

It seems to be leaking behind the booster. It’s pouring down the firewall. It has to be something in the master cylinder.

#53

So this guy goes from leaking brake fluid down the firewall while loading the car to a 3rd place finish on Sat and 1st place on Sunday! Are you kidding me?!

Congrats Cam…Nice work this weekend.

#54

hahah I told you guys I like rain!

Not to mention the massive fuel leak he had, a couple more race weekends and that car might actually be sorted out :). This past weekend was probably the most satisfying race weekend I’ve had in quite sometime. I had a major break through in my rain driving and really enjoyed the races in the rain especially on Sunday. I’m looking forward to the next event rain or shine.

Major breakthrough…I’d say so!!! Yes, despite the weather, it was a great weekend. Putnam is a great place to work on your rain prowess. Until this weekend, I’ve always skipped out on the rain events (and it showed in my lap times). I’m glad I stuck with it…turns out 3/32 Toyo’s aren’t half bad as long as there’s no major standing water (thanks for the advice Jeremy!). I learned a ton and think I’ll be able to turn the wick up once the new car smell is gone. I’ll have my new rain tires ready for the next event!

I must admit, I wish we could have had one dry race. Saturday was shaping up to be a great duel with Jeremy.

#57

Simon out-rained Jeremy and me during Saturday’s race by 2 seconds. You guys better watch out for Simon when the rain comes now!

#58

Yeah you guys were both flying in the rain! Congrats to both of you for some well deserved race wins!

#59

Congrats to Simon and Cameron for their respective wins!!! Not racing sucked, but I had a very enjoyable weekend and can’t wait to do it again.

#60

Rich, what happened that you couldn’t race? Did you break?
