I grew up the next town north of Plainfield. If you want a place to go, try Claddagh Irish Pub at Metropolis Mall. It’s easy to get to from all the hotels.

budget and time are real tight right now, businees is super slow, my wife is finishing up her masters program, yadda, yadda. I might be playing this one down to the wire. On that note, anybody gonna have an extra bed or looking to share a room somewhere?

Maybe haven’t discussed with the wife yet, she might want me to drive home at night. With gas prices it is probably cheaper for me to share a hotel than drive home each night. I’ll let you know.

Shannon is going to be staying with me. We are at the Holiday Inn in Cloverdale. Probably won’t be able to attend anything Sat night as we will have the kids with us.

Do any of you that are going to Putnam have an old warn out RA1 lying around? I am looking to replace one tire that is showing cords on my practice tires. Let me know what you want for it and I’ll pick it up track side. Thanks.

So last night’s re-align the car before Putnam because it wouldn’t turn well at MidOhio turned out to be an “oh $^!^ the swap bar ripped off the trailing arm tab” kind of night. Luckily our shop mate who can weld was around helped out after we got it prepped up so we are 75% done with the fix.
Weld on those reinforcements if you haven’t done that already! IIRC these arms only had 4 weekends on them.

So Shelly and the kids are not coming. Who was it that wanted to share a room? We are staying in Plainfield someplace at $85/night.
Also, Will hot dogs like at Mid-Ohio be OK for lunch again? It is easy to fix and I don’t ever eat them any other time so I don’t really mind eating them again. If anyone else wants/plans to bring anything for our lunches let me know so we don’t have so much left over. I am happy to provide everything but if you are bringing anything just tell me so I don’t have the stuff to eat for the next month.
