Purchased a new car

#1

I found a donor car just a few miles from where I work and grabbed it today:woohoo:

For $1000 I got a clean 89 325iA coupe. The only rust is in the battery box and it runs but overheats in traffic. So once I finish my garage and install the lift I will start moving parts from the old to the new. Anyone need an Auto Trans for an E30?

Here are some pics: (it’s the black one)

Congrats!!!

I’m in Springfield, VA. If you need any help let me know!

Looks like a good, clean E30! Got a deal on it too. I just picked mine up last Thursday.

Wow those seats look perfect. you could sell them for the price of the car on ebay.

Thanks for the offer to turn some wrenches. I’ll let you know when I finish the garage and I start into the car.

Not only is this interior in good shape but I still haven’t sold the interior out of my original car which had the sport seats in excellent shape. So I figure I can get some cash from those sales to help finance the rebuild. I can also sell my basketweaves now that I have a set of bottlecaps for winter storage.

np… just let me know when you are ready. Did you know the car can be stripped down to the body shell (excluding drivetrain) using just the tools in the trunklid mounted tool tray?

…ask me how I know!
:woohoo:

Looks like a nice car for $1000.

I have no idea, hadn’t had any time to think about it, my initial guess would be about $50 a rim.
